What to Refer to Delta Dermatology

Medical Dermatology

Delta Dermatology accepts referrals for all skin, hair and nail conditions for patients of all ages both male and female. Conditions to refer include Dermatitis, Eczema, Acne, Psoriasis, hyperhydrosis. Referrals will be triaged to the most appropriate dermatologist for treatment.

Skin and Lesion Checks

We are happy to accept referrals for routine skin checks as well as for review of suspicious lesion which will be triaged to the most appropriate dermatologist.

Women's Genital Dermatology

Dr Wain has sub-specialised in diagnosis and treatment of women's genital dermatological conditions (GynaeDerm), however is currently experiencing an extended wait time for new referrals. Dr Wain has trained GynaeDerm GP Dr Hana Wills in the diagnosis and treatment of GynaeDerm conditions in order to expedite treatment of new patients. New GynaeDerm referrals are being triaged to GynaeDerm GP Dr Wills to expedite treatment. This allows us to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care.

Paediatric Dermatology

We are more than happy to accept all paediatric dermatological referals which will be refered to the most suitable dermatologist.

 

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

We accept referrals for confirmed malignant lesions for surgical removal. Please direct such referrals to Plastic Surgeon A-Prof Alexander Varey.

Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology

Delta Dermatology can address cosmetic concerns such as Rosacea, Scarring and Melasma.

To refer your patient to Delta Dermatology please call (02) 9184 3916 or correspond via Healthlink or Argus. You may also send a referral by faxing to 02 9475 0507 or emailing to admin@deltadermatology.com.au.

Urgent Appointments

For urgent cases and concerns please do not hesitate to call the practice to discuss and we will be more than happy to assist. We will, where appropriate, assist in finding appointments for urgent cases.
