Pigmentation and Melasma Treatment

There are a range of skin pigmentation disorders, such as Melasma, which can cause unwanted benign brown marks, patches or freckles on the skin. There are treatments available to reduce visible pigmentation on your skin.

Brown marks or patches on the skin can be treated cosmetically however before treatment it is important to exclude a skin cancer diagnosis. As a dermatology practice we are experts in diagnosis and managment of skin cancer and will be able to review this internally.

Treatment options for pigmenting disorders depends on the cause as well as your skin type. Our team will be able to review your specific concerns and recommend a treatment plan which could include laser treatment, IPL, medical grade lightening creams and/or chemical peels.
